AKP Phnom Penh, July 08, 2025 -- The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of the Kingdom of Cambodia has prepared and submitted the nomination dossier for the “Khmer Traditional Wedding, Khmer Marriage, or Kar” to the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) on April 2, 2024, with the aim of having it inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
